Senior ASP.Net Developer

We are looking for a Senior ASP.Net Developer with over 5 years’ web agency experience to work alongside the Head of Technical in leading and delivering our successful online projects.

About you

You will:

  • Have the ability to lead technical projects and coordinate a small team of developers
  • Be involved in technical architecture and designing optimal technical solutions
  • Demonstrate good communication skills to explain technical concepts and problems to non-technical people
  • Demonstrate a professional and approachable attitude in client facing environments
  • Provide accurate quotes and estimates in response to client briefs
  • Have good experience on web projects of varying types and sizes
  • Have a good knowledge of web administration tasks such as IIS configuration, DNS, SSL setup, performance monitoring and general troubleshooting approaches
  • Be able to work as part of a team and work closely with project managers and visual designers

Experience:

  • Expertise in ASP.Net 3.5 (some knowledge of 4.0 is desirable)
  • Expertise in C# 3.0 (some knowledge of 4.0 is desirable)
  • Expertise with Visual Studio 2008
  • Expertise with Sql Server 2005 and 2008
  • Strong knowledge of setting up and configuring websites in IIS 6 and 7
  • Strong knowledge of ORM tools such as NHibernate and the Entity Framework
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML 5 and CSS 2 and 3
  • Good experience with NUnit or similar tools to support Test Driven Development
  • Good experience with javascript frameworks such as JQuery and Mootools (Mootools preferred)

Front End Developer (Junior)


We're seeking a talented front end developer with a passion for web design and an eye for detail. You will be required to work on improving, maintaining and troubleshooting existing templates as well as working on new templates for various projects and running email campaigns.

About you

  • Comfortable to hand-code standards-compliant XHTML/CSS
  • Your best friend is Firebug and layout tables make you weep
  • You want to learn even more about pushing the boundaries of the web
  • Knowledge of server-side technologies, especially PHP and .NET (not essential)
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript (not essential)
  • You have some previous agency experience (not essential)
  • You are well organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work to tight deadlines

Experience

  • XHTML and CSS with an emphasis on tableless design
  • Cross browser compatibility
  • Good appreciation of DDA and W3C standards
  • Basic Photoshop/Illustrator skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Ideally you will have some commercial experience and motivation to develop your skillset further. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate a portfolio of previous work in the interview. Please also include URLs and examples of tableless design and well structured XHTML/CSS hand coding.
