Senior ASP.Net Developer

We are looking for a Senior ASP.Net Developer with over 5 years' web agency experience to work alongside the Head of Technical in leading and delivering our successful online projects.

You will become a part of professional team who are focused on delivering high quality, modern online solutions for a diverse range of clients and projects. Our vibrant workplace is the perfect environment for fostering new ideas and developing your skills and career in the right direction.

About you

You will:

  • Have the ability to lead technical projects and coordinate a small team of developers
  • Be involved in technical architecture and designing optimal technical solutions
  • Demonstrate good communication skills to explain technical concepts and problems to non-technical people
  • Demonstrate a professional and approachable attitude in client facing environments
  • Provide accurate quotes and estimates in response to client briefs
  • Have good experience on web projects of varying types and sizes
  • Have a good knowledge of web administration tasks such as IIS configuration, DNS, SSL setup, performance monitoring and general troubleshooting approaches
  • Be able to work as part of a team and work closely with project managers and visual designers

Experience:

  • Expertise in ASP.Net 3.5 (some knowledge of 4.0 is desirable)
  • Expertise in C# 3.5 (some knowledge of 4.0 is desirable)
  • Expertise with Visual Studio 2008 and 2010
  • Expertise with Sql Server 2005 and 2008
  • Strong knowledge of setting up and configuring websites in IIS 6 and 7
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML 5 and CSS 2 and 3
  • Good experience with NUnit or similar tools to support Test Driven Development
  • Good experience with javascript frameworks such as JQuery and/or Mootools
  • Good experience of ORM tools such as NHibernate and the Entity Framework
